I don't watch much TV.

In fact, with the exception of a few movies (old) and TV shows (old) I have spent very little time in front of the tube since 1982. The Army, and mostly swing shift work aided my absence from prime time.
I have never seen an episode of "friends".
Or "Seinfeld" or "The Sopranos".
Not one.
I take it Hollywood now views America much differently.
Getting home mid evening these days, I get to catch snippets of some to the newer network television shows, and frankly, I'm a bit creeped out by Hollywood's worldview.

But the sad fact is, they produce such weirdness because it sells advertising, and it does that because YOU WATCH YOU FUCKING MORONS.

Oh yes, yes indeedy, the American television viewing public has slipped right into the gutter.
No I'm NOT talking about language, nudity, moral themes etc. Not only is that irrelevant, but the truth is much, much worse.

What I'm talking about is the intelligence level, the shockingly outright dumbness of it all.
The self indulgent narcissism and low brow scripting.
Boiled down to their essence, these shows don't have the level of sophistication as represented by an episode of "Leave it to Beaver" much less "The Avengers" or "The Prisoner".
These show are truly, insidiously stupid, and YOU watch them.
