Sympatico with Harry.
I think it's pretty clear that I always wanted Harry's head on a post, with the crows plucking out his eyeballs. But this one is strangely unsatisfying. But it is ironic.Harry fell victim to the same rules that he helped develop, implement, and maintain. Rules that have the opposite effect of the stated goal. You see, Boeing these days is a corperation built upon a web of lies and deciet, and one of the methods by which it maintains that fabric of lies is by supression of the truth. The code of conduct is ordinarily used to beat up on low ranking employees that would utter the truth. There is a litle blurb in the CoC that basically says "thou shalt not do or say anything that embarrases the company".Boeing IS unethical, and always will be, as long as the supression of truth and the punishment of employees for speaking it is the normal way of doing business. But it's somewhat unfair. There are more than one female Boeing managers that shagged her way to a higher position by assuming several different positions, and more than one male Boeing manager who took full advantage of the strange to be had simply for endorsing a promotion. On the upside, there is now some indication that the Board of directors has something of a pulse. Sigh, perhaps only today. Then they return to their coffins and slam the doors shut. It's also good to know that the full-on orgy scow 737 Business Jet Phil built for himself (737BJ or 737 BEEJAY) allowed Harry and mistress to join the mile high club as well. I expect the next CEO to explore airborne waterbed technology next. That being said, I consider myself a bit clairvoyant today:

But one thing I do find immensly enjoyable is that the idol, the false god to which many prayed (especially ed2 and clones) has been dragged down faster than a saddam statue on liberation day. He lies broken and shattered before their feet. He's worse than dead, he's humiliated, and the one thing he supposedly stood for other than profit, Boeing ethics, is a co-mingled in the rubble heap.
